The principles of sustainability inspire our way of life and our way of work. Sustainable is our code and our calling. At Paso Prime, sustainable means that we serve as stewards of our land, gathering and distributing its yield without over grazing or employing aggressive practices to artificially enhance production that would simultaneously destroy quality or the ability of our land to recover in time for the new growing season. Sustainable is about accepting what the land has given us with gratitude and respect, faithful that the harvest will be enough.
The balance point for us to achieve sustainability in Paso Prime grass fed beef production is to allow only 3 head of cattle to graze per acre. 3 head per acre is our commitment to our consumers, our cattle, our land and to future generations who will carry Paso Prime forth in a way that is sustainable.
